Ella & Valentine's Day

A few weeks ago we headed over to MN for a visit with G&G, Brian, Katie and Ella!  It was so fun to see them again; Ella's grown so much even since Christmas!  She has a lot more hair and is very close to sitting up by herself.  She also got to eat cereal for the first time!  And she did so great - I was amazed.  She ate 4 bowls on her first try!  I remember Jocelyn took a bit to figure it out, but not Ella - she knew just what to do.  It was a nice, low key, chill weekend.

Jocelyn's favorite game is Candy Land.  I was glad there were other people who wanted to play with her!  She's getting better, but tends to not want to finish the game if she's losing.  We played the other day, and after me winning twice she decided she was going to just play it by herself.
Jocelyn loves holidays.  Doesn't matter which one, she just likes having a day to celebrate.  Any excuse to dress up and have a party is good with her!  They had their daycare party the Friday before Valentine's Day.  We made her friends their cards and gave tattoos too.  She got to decorate her card box and worked very hard on that.  We probably should have stayed home - the whole center has RSV and her class is especially bad.  She's had the cough on and off, but over the weekend got worse, and then this week had a fever.  Hopefully being gone from the germs for 6 days will help.

Most of her friends gave her candy, and my girl loves candy!  She got two Fun Dips, so we each had one.

Here are the Valentine's we made for the cousins and Cory.  She's getting very good at her writing!  Ella's (she added the H because she likes writing H's) has the best one of her name on it - the J's are normally backwards, but the other letters are coming along well!
It was Jocelyn and I on Valentine's Day - Calvin had to work, as they were pretty busy.  He did bring me flowers to work - aren't they beautiful?!
Our dinner - don't worry - we did have some fruit too. :)
