Sleigh ride

We have a lot of birthdays starting in January and going thru May. Which is a very nice way to break up the ickyness that is January, February and March!  This year for Pat's birthday he took us all on a sleigh ride at the horse farm where Kailee takes lessons and helps out around the farm.  I hear stories all the time about all the fun they used to have growing up with the horses they had - sleigh rides and horses running away, bucking them off, etc.  It was a gorgeous day in the 30's which was perfect - it had been very cold leading up to it and after it!

Roasting hot dogs around the campfire

Anita's sister, Donna, and her family came down for the weekend, so were able to come.  This is their son Ari.
 Aren't the horses just beautiful?

Bumpa and Elliot having some lunch

Bumpa was so happy to go on the rides!  And to take the little kids too...what a great birthday.
Roasting marshmallows, hotdogs, and a snowball (probably Cory was behind that one)

Jocelyn and Elliot had lots of fun the in snow - I think they're discussing how they can get Cory with a big snowball.

Then Elliot and Jocey were throwing snow at each other, and she decided she didn't like it anymore - major melt down.  Good thing the zip line was there to distract her!
 Brotherly love

This guy could have sat out in the snow all day just playing away!

Ama and Evan stayed home, but he didn't seem to mind one bit! (and I'm sure Ama didn't either)
We had such a fun day!  It was beautiful to be outside and so fun to spend some chill out time all together.
